It's amazing once you get in someone's car and find out what they might be hiding in their glove compartment. A recent poll was released as to the things people keep in their cars just in case. And even more amazing, what car owners are keeping these things in their car!

The Mike & Carla Morning Show made sure to talk about this during their segment of "A Few Things We Think You Should Know" and it wasn't any surprised as to where BMW drivers rank! Carla Rea has been very loud about the driving habits of BMW drivers and the lack of courtesy they show on the road. Well, if she was looking for anymore evidence, she has it how.

First off, the poll found two-thirds of us keep weapons in our car, just in case.  The most common are knives, pepper spray, and guns.  Depending on where you live, you surely have a reason to keep some of these things in your car.

Now it gets down to the car owners that are keeping these things in their car...the people most likely to keep a weapon on hand are Hyundai, BMW, and Mercedes drivers. The real surprise is Hyundai being number one in this category followed by BMW...on the other hand, is anyone surprised by Mercedes being number three?

So the next time you're at a red light,  take a look to your left and your right.  Chances are, one of those drivers has a WEAPON on hand.  On the other hand, only 4% of people claim they HAVE needed it before. Hopefully that makes you feel a bit better?

Here are a few more stats from the poll according to the article put out by CircutBlog...

1.  The people most likely to keep a weapon on hand are Hyundai, BMW, and Mercedes drivers.

2.  The people we think are most prone to road rage are men, younger drivers, and people in sports cars.

3.  According to people's tweets, the city with the most road rage is Eugene, Oregon.  The rest of the top five are Atlanta, Orlando, Pittsburgh, and Miami.

4.  Two random stats that have nothing to do with road rage:  29% of people admit they sing along LOUDLY to the radio . . . and 22% of us occasionally DANCE while driving.

So as you drive around this weekend, keep your head on a swivel and just trying and be a cautious, yet courteous driver...and enjoy!
