Yup! You read that correctly! If you were planning to win a lottery and actually grasp a ticket to see Taylor Swift on her upcoming “Eras” Tour, don’t bother. Ticketmaster/Live Nation released a statement that the public sale which was supposed to happen today will be canceled due to “Insufficient remaining ticket inventory” and wouldn’t be able to meet the demand.

The National Chairman of Live Nation, Greg Maffei said they’re working to fix the issue, but basically put blame on Taylor Swifts popularity. The site was supposed to give 1.5 million verified Taylor Swift fans an opportunity to buy tickets before the public but 14 million people were able to get in, including ticket bots and outlets!

The backlash of those fans who aren’t even gonna get a chance to buy a ticket has hit the web hard! People taking to social media outlets to vent their anger towards Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and even Taylor Swift! Fans calling out to Taylor Swift to help fix this situation!

As of now, confirmation tickets sales are being sold online on 2nd and 3rd party websites for over 100 times the original value. People who aren’t able to afford the tickets are sadly going that route.
