Drugs are BAD!! But they sure make for some weird and interesting stories…on The Mike & Carla Morning Show!

The Rubik’s Cube is one of the toughest puzzles in the world. It takes people hours to solve one Rubik’s Cube puzzle. But, George Scholey, 20, from the UK,  broke a Guinness World Record by solving 6,931 Rubik’s Cubes within 24 hours. Scholey is considered one of the best speedcubers in the world. And now I’m sure there will soon be “Speedcubing With The Stars!”

A guy who was on meth got a DUI in Arizona last week – driving with an OWL in his car!  He told police he just bought the owl for $100 outside a gas station, from some strangers who said they found it on the side of the road.  Luckily the owl will be okay. Police put out a statement telling people don’t use meth, or, “you too may find yourself illegally purchasing a wild owl for $100 in the middle of the night, from strangers at a local gas station.”

Sonny Molina, of Woodstock, Illinois, also set a new world record by placing 509 lanyards around his neck. He went after the record to honor those in the healthcare industry like himself. Sonny also raised money for the non-profit group Soles4Souls. He is a surgical nurse. Now this one I think Carla could do!

A woman from France is growing a nose on her arm after losing a large chunk of her own nose to cancer. Doctors are growing the nose on the woman’s arm in hopes they will be able to transplant it one day. A 3D printer was used to construct the nose out of skin and cartilage.  You might remember the man whose pen** fell off, and doctors grew him a new one on his arm. Or maybe you don’t.

Just goes to show – miracles CAN happen!
