When a "wild" animal gets into your house, the simple questions is "how do you get it out?" That's what came up this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show because it actually happened to Mike O'Brian on Friday!

Well, let's clarify what is meant by a "wild" animal...as Mike headed for home, his wife Jodi informed him that a "Hummingbird" had gotten into the house and made it's way into the master bedroom! So immediately, he told his wife to call the "get a hummingbird out of your house people!" Now keep in mind, there is no such thing as that, but it sounded like the easiest thing to do at the time.

However, when Mike got home, he knew it was up to him...so the process began, First attempt was to attach the red bird feeder to a long pole, hold it up where the bird could see it, and slowly lead it out the front door. Now this sounded good at first, but after about 10-15 minutes, he had to come up with another plan.

Ah, the BROOM! Get the broom...the one tool every guy will retrieve when in this situation! Hold the broom up and carefully guide the bird down the stairs and out the front door! Once again, a plan that sounded good at the time, but as Mike attempted this, he had an epiphany...the bedroom window was right there!

As Jodi came home, Mike put the broom down, took the screen off the window and then, with the screen in hand, guided the bird out the window...the day had been saved! Ta-da! So with all that said, The M&C Morning Show wanted to know the last time you had an unwanted guest in the house and how did you get them out?

Got calls this morning ranging from a "bat" to a mountain lion! Check out the segment from this morning and enjoy!
