It's a dating app trend that wants you to post pictures of the "real" you instead of one all glammed up! It's called "reverse cat-fishing" and The Mike & Carla Morning Show talked about it this morning finding out that more and more people are liking this new trend. You actually post pictures of you as you are...for women, not a lot of make-up, a baseball cap, t-shirt and jeans! That's it...and for guys, minus the make-up, maybe about the same thing!

So what they're asking is put up pictures of yourself that make you look worse than what you would like like if you showed up for a date...and of course upon meeting your date, BONUS! We know it sounds wild and you wouldn't think those that use dating apps would be into this, but guess what? So the lesson here is put those pictures up that don't make you look that good...so when you show up a little dressed up, your date is even more impressed.

Clearly this is working because more and more single people are doing it...and if you think about it, it takes the pressure off both of you. Anything you do to make yourself look better is great and if your the one sitting there with low expectations, imagine how you'll feel when your date shows up and you're like WOW!

The M&C Morning Show is thinking this is a WIN-WIN situation! Let's be honest, if you've tried other dating apps without any luck or have showed up for your date a little disappointed, why not at least try this? You got nothing to lose and everything to gain...stay positive and be yourself!

So listen to details on this story and others in our segment of "A Few Things We Think You Should Know" from this morning and enjoy!
