‘Stolen’ Base Gets You A FREE Taco At Taco Bell
In the first game of the World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros, Kyle Schwarber stole second base, that means a FREE taco at Taco Bell! The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to make sure that, even if you’re not a fan of either team, you took advantage of the deal!
Now you have 10 days to take advantage of this offer…you have to go through a few hoops to get the FREE Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos, but it might be worth it. Oh by the way, Taco Bell was also offering a FREE meal to those that picked the first player to steal a base. Seeing that Schwarber is not the most likely guy to steal a base, don’t think too many fans won on that one!
According to an article published by FanNation, you can read all about the offer and what you have to do to get in on the freebies! The series is all tied up at one game a piece with Game 3 being rained out last night in Philly, they will try and play again tonight.
Keep in mind that the Philadelphia Phillies have two guys from Las Vegas on the team in designated hitter, Bryce Harper and shortstop Bryson Stott. We all know Harper’s story, but Stott is a graduate of Desert Oasis High School, played his college ball at UNLV! Both his parents attended UNLV and it seems that both players have more in common then just being from Las Vegas!
It’s always nice to see a couple of hometown boys make it to the major leagues with a chance to WIN a World Series together…let’s just see if that happens. All this a few more topics brought up in this morning’s edition of “A Few Things We Think You Should Know” on The M&C Morning Show!
