Florida Middle Schooler Plays Robin Hood With Grandparents Money
A middle-school student in Florida has been busted for stealing her grandparents money. Now most would steal the money, then go and spend it on things you know they’d never approve of you having. Or things you couldn’t afford normally. The 14-year old is facing grand theft charges because she stole a total of $10,000 from them! But instead of spending the money, she was taking it to school and handing the money out to fellow students for free!
The girl attends Lake Weir Middle School in Summerfield. She was literally handing out hundreds of dollars to each of her school friends. It was brought to the attention of the school and the deputies of Marion County showed up discovering the girl had about $2,500 left in her bag! When confronted, the girl said she was given the money from a fellow student, but when she realized her false story wouldn’t work, she said she stole it from her grandmother’s safe. A total of $13,500!
How are they gonna get all this money back? The middle school has contacted all parents of those students who received money and is asking them to talk with their children about the stolen and money and to hopefully have them return it!
