All 32 NHL teams have revealed their new 2022-23 "Reverse Retro" themed jerseys. We had heard rumors about the Vegas Golden Knights new design for this season, but now we get to see the official version.  Here's how our local team presented this new uniform in a short video:

Well, if nothing else, you have to be impressed with "glow-in-the-dark" letters and numbers on that jersey!

According to an article posted on NHL.com by the Vegas G0lden Knights, most of the 2022-23 Reverse Retro jerseys are based on each team's history. Since the Golden Knights are only six seasons old, adidas and the NHL, creators of these uniforms, went with our city's history for a theme. The "Vegas" on the front of the jersey uses lettering taken from the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. The numbering uses the font from the old Stardust Hotel & Casino. I especially liked the "sword" striping down the sides of the hockey pants of the new "third" uniform.

ESPN.com reporter Greg Wyshynski has posted an article where you can see all 32 of the new designs. Not only that, he has ranked them, and the Vegas Golden Knights "Reverse Retro" jersey places sixth. Not bad. You can check out his article and all the designs by clicking here.

Man, I really do like the Florida Panthers "Reverse Retro." Even though I'm not a fan of the team (they're going to be good this year though), you just have to love the "feel good" sunshine vibe on that jersey to wear around Southern Nevada, where it seems to be sunny just about all the time. And we've imported lots of palm trees here too!

I'm sure many fans look at these third jerseys and think: "It's a money-making gimmick." That is true, but the concept does generate excitement, social media chatter, and notoriety for the league. We don't have to buy 'em, right?
