How many times have you gotten in trouble from a dream someone else had? That’s what came up this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show and evidently a lot of people are in this same boat. However, it seems that more men get in trouble from what they do in their wives dreams than the other way around.
Of course the complete opposite happened here, when a guy emailed The M&C Morning Show asking for some help on what to do when he found out what he’s wife had dreamed about. Already having some marital problems and seeking counseling, the wife came clean admitting that she had dreamt of sleeping with her husband’s best friend. Needless to say, this did not sit well with the hubby, thus seeking advice from us and our listeners.
M&C opened the talk and text lines only to find that there were a lot of people that could relate to this topic and, again, we found it was mostly men getting in trouble for what they did in their wives dreams. One guy even said that his wife was mad because he had slept with her sister in her dream…he quickly said, “…I hate your sister!”
One dream expert has said that that people who moonlight in others’ dreams are likely a reflection of the dreamer and what they must learn, face, or understand. In fact, nine times out of ten, it’s more about the people having the dream than those in the dream.
Pretty deep stuff for The M&C Morning Show, but it made for an entertaining topic this morning. Check out some of the calls and texts that came in and see if you can’t relate as a bunch of listeners did this morning…and enjoy!
Vegan food has become more of a topic of conversation in recent years. With local businesses and ever-growing culture now welcoming the vegetarian and vegan lifestyle, more tasty plates have been available for taste-testing. Wynn Las Vegas has implemented that every fine dining restaurant of theirs has a vegan option available with the goal to cater to all guests. Disneyland has also jumped on the plant based trend to make a change in their food and beverage menu strategy. Most to all of Disneyland‘s restaurants and carts incorporate a vegan option to help cater to more people. Businesses have seen a wide growth in vegetarian and vegan customers that the idea of not having a meat-substitute option is out of the norm.
Even our very own frequently visited fast-food chain, Burger King, rolled out the Impossible Whopper in August of 2019. The Impossible meat flamed-grilled patty is made out vegetables and soy which may not sound appetizing reading but taste wise is next level.
Vegas has been growing in population and with more people means more hungry stomachs. Local eateries and food trucks have been upping their game in providing fresh and tasty ingredients. If you’re someone who is looking to expand your restaurant list, you came to the right place. Three restaurants below are widely different in culture, menu options and delivery but all have the same common core. Plant Based. Each of these restaurants offer menu items that scream yummy. Now we know what you’re thinking, “What do they serve, salads?” Valid and also very funny. How does savory sushi rolls, saucy meatball subs or sweet baklava sound? Yes, all made with no animals and will question if you’re eating the real thing.
If you’re not familiar with Tarantino’s Vegan, Daikon Vegan Sushi, or POTs then grab your best friends and your hungry appetite for experiences like no other.
