Las Vegas local and lead singer of the world wide known group Imagine Dragons has announced that they have to cancel tour dates because of an injury he’s sustained. The tour dates are in Mexico and in South America.

The group took to social media to announce the cancellation of tour dates stating that Dan has been dealing with hemorrhaged vocal chords as well as a nodule. He’s been dealing with this since the end of their last tour. Dan Reynolds is also dealing with a bad sprain in his knee and is currently in a brace. They’re saying rehabilitation could take a while.

Doctors have told him that going out on this leg of their tour could have serious affects like a rupture in his vocal chords which would irreparably hurt his vocals.

Their current tour, the “Mercury World Tour” was gonna kick off again in Bogota, Colombia and end in Mexico City. While fans are bummed of the cancellations, they have been very understanding based on the responses on the social posts sent out by the band and it’s management.
