Las Vegas Teacher In Hot Water After Accusations
A Las Vegas teacher has been arrested after allegations of inappropriate behavior were made against him. According to court documents, the teacher was accused of touching multiple female students, Fox5Vegas reported. Bryan Brady is a 45-year old mathematics teacher with the Clark County School District. The investigation took place at John C. Fremont Professional Development Middle School & Academy of Medical Sciences.Ā The school is located in Las Vegas near Fremont, on the corner of Louis Avenue and Atlantic. Brady isn’t currently listed under the school’s staff directory, though it’s possible his photo was removed after his arrest.
Brady is currently looking at five separate gross misdemeanor counts of inappropriate contact with a minor. The District Attorney’s office issued a summons for the Las Vegas teacher after the allegations came in. According to court reports, Brady turned himself in shortly thereafter (fox5vegas). Brady has taught with the Clark County School District since 2012.
The accusation made was that Brady would target girls who wore jeans with holes in them. One student said he smiled as he put his finger in the hole in her jeans, touching her skin. A second student made a similar allegation about the jeans she was wearing around Brady. A third student had a different allegation, saying that Brady grabbed her thigh. Days later the same student says she went into the classroom to retrieve a forgotten item. When she found Brady alone there, he asked the student if she wanted to raise her grade. The student left because she felt uncomfortable (fox5vegas).
As part of the investigation, Brady has been assigned to his home, according to court records (fox5vegas). Authorities are urging any other students who might have claims against Brady to contact the Clark County School District Police Department Dispatch at 702-799-5411.
