With Halloween, one woman declares, "no costume, no candy"! The sign has been posted and children should beware...or maybe the parents should be? This came up on The Mike & Carla Morning Show this morning and some listeners were not to keen on it!

A listener had texted The M&C Morning Show wondering if she was wrong posting the sign this and with the way she feels! Some of her neighbors were a little upset by it, but in talking about it, where do you draw the line?

When you have kids coming up to your door just holding out the bag expecting you to just drop in a few candy bars, then moving on...not "trick-or-treat", not "thank-you", NOTHING! How are these kids going to learn the proper way to trick-or-treat if we don't teach them?

It stimulated some great conversation from listeners texting in as well as calling in this morning with parents that were not happy with the current state of Halloween and how kids trick-or-treat. The lack of costumes, saying that magical phrase that should get you your candy, and even the candy itself.

The M&C Morning Show even had listeners calling in about different levels of trick-or-treaters and what they got in return depending on the level they we approved for...it got very specific! Not sure how it will go this year in your neighborhood or even at your house, but the stakes are higher and the expectations have been laid out according to most listening this morning.

So a word to the parents and they should pass it along to their kids...bring your "A" game this scary season and if you do, then you get the good stuff! Either way, check out the segment from this morning and you decide on how you will treat the little ghosts and goblins!
