Taco Bell Wants You To Vote And Make The Call

Taco Bell is leaving it up to their customers to vote for the one food item they’d like to see on the menu! The Mike & Carla Morning Show opened up the heated discussion this morning by presenting the facts and then the voting was on! Taken from an article publish in an edition of Food & Wine, The M&C Morning Show wanted listeners to know what was at stake here!

And why not? Remember when the Mexican Pizza returned to Taco Bell this month after fans forced their hand by eating so many during a limited release in May.  Well, now Taco Bell is trying to catch lightning in a bottle by bringing back another item . . .

The fast food chain has announced that they are willing to bring one item back, but it is up to the FANS to vote and decide which one it is. In fact, you have two options to choose from: The first one is the Double Decker Taco, which debuted in 1995 and pulled back in 2019. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a regular hard taco, with a tortilla around it using refried beans to keep it all together!

The other option is their Enchirito that first hit the menu in back in 1970, but management pulled in 2013.  It’s basically an enchilada-burrito mash-up . . . simply a wet burrito filled with beef, beans, and onions, then covered in sauce! At this point in time, the clear favorite!

If you’d like to vote, there are a few things to keep in mind, you have to be a Taco Bell Rewards Member to weigh in.  Oh, and you can vote once a day through their app between now and October 6th. They’ll reveal the results next Friday, October 7th.  The winner will return to the menu sometime soon after the count is done and completed.
