With season 5 of “The Crown” being released, the royal family is not too happy with what Netflix has done or is about to do. Season 5 is centered around the marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, now of course King Charles. Someone close to King Charles in the royal circle has said that Netflix has no care for anyone or their lives. They called it “exploitive” and also “they have no qualms about mangling people’s reputations!”

Buckingham Palace has put it out there remind people that “The Crown” is a drama and NOT a documentary, so what you see on the show is not always what is happening. Season 5 will premiere on Netflix on November 9th!  This season and next season will highlight on the relationship of Diana and Charles and season 6 focusing on the death of Diana.

It has also been said that the show, although very popular, has done long lasting damage to the monarchy. Netflix has said that during this season, it will be a so called “Love Letter” to Queen Elizabeth II. Netflix also halted filming when the Queen passed away on September 8th!
