Your Last 'Door to Door' Experience

Just when you thought the day of the "door to door" salesman is a thing of the past...guess again! The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know the last time you had a someone at your front door trying to sell you something!

What were they selling? Did you actually buy something from this person? Or did you do what a lot of people do and just not answer the door? This morning The M&C Morning Show seem to get calls from all different perspectives including one guy who used to be a salesman going from house to house.

This was brought up this morning when Carla Rea had a run-in with a sales person at her house and just wanted to know how many other people have gone through the same thing. Not that she bought anything, in fact, she didn't think people did this anymore in the sense of carrying like, say for example a vacuum around and trying to sell it. BTW, talking about "vacuum cleaners" it did come up that Mike O'Brian used to sell Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners pounding the pavement in Phoenix! Don't laugh, they're not cheap! The bottom line is that selling like this still goes on...

Some listeners actually called in saying they had a very pleasant experience with the salesperson and in fact, would have spent more for the product since the sales guy was so good! Hard to believe right? On the other hand, one person called in with an experience and dealing with salesperson where he actually had to call authorities...got very tense, but everyone was okay!

You would think that in this day and age of being do digital, there would be no need to sell things right at your front door...well, guess again! It is alive and well in America and if you don't believe us, just listen to the segment from this morning...and enjoy!
