The "Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con" is happening this weekend at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 1. And since it is not being held in a casino this time, attendees are allowed to wear costumes, as long as they are in good taste. The organizers of the event would like to keep things classy. Props are also permitted, but security staff will make sure no props could cause patrons any harm.

According to the Amazing Comic Con website, show hours are Friday September 16 from 3pm to 8pm, Saturday September 17 from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday September 18 from 10am-6pm. Tickets are available online and at the door. You can find all ticket information here. This is a family friendly event and kids 10 and under will be admitted free.

The Comic Con promises some amazing guests that you can meet in person this weekend too. Click guest list for all the info.

On Saturday night after the main floor closes at 7pm, there will be a costume contest for ages 12 and above. If you would like to sign up, you can access the registration form by clicking this link.

Comics are all the rage right now, and they have been for the past decade or two. You now find that almost every blockbuster movie is based on comic book characters. There are more and more television series based on comic book characters being created for streaming channels and regular broadcast TV. Believe it or not, there was a time when parents actually discouraged their children from reading comic books. You wouldn't know it by the popularity of comic cons being held all over the USA and the world these days.

So get on over to the Las Vegas Convention Center and enjoy the first "Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con" to be held since 2019. It will be worth the wait!
