Celebrate: National 'Box Of Wine Day' Today

If you're going to celebrate anything today it might as well be with a box of wine since today is the day! Yep, The Mike & Carla Morning Show made it a point to mention the fact that today is actually "National Box of Wine Day" today! Oh c'mon, admit it, we've all taken a sip of wine poured from a box and depending on the situation, you do what you have to do!

Considering there are 4 bottles of wine in one box, when you're in a pinch, not always a bad thing to pick up a couple of boxes if you're entertaining a big crowd! The nice thing is that if you were to buy a box of wine, it still wouldn't cost you as much as a box of wine...so you got that going for ya!

Now what kind of box to buy depends on what you're having to eat...for example, a Cabernet Sauvignon goes very well with a well prepared steak and other red meats. Going with more earthy dishes this weekend, then think about a nice Burgundy box of wine! Thinking about chicken or a pork dish, then the best route to go is probably with a Chardonnay

Despite the reputation a box of wine might have, there are some good boxes of wine out there...as supported by an article published by Liquor.com from just last year. There are wines that are not only good, but much more important, affordable! Not to mention, it's lightweight, easy to store, and keeps wine tasting fresher longer...and isn't that what we all want?

So this weekend, sit back, relax, and feel free to cut open that favorite box of wine you might have in mind and enjoy...oh, a few more things from this morning spotlighting new words in the dictionary and sayings your boss might use to show he or she is very passive aggressive!
