Football Is Here: What's It Like In Your House

The NFL kicks off a new season and we're all excited about OUR team and the chances of going to the BIG GAME at the end of the season. In a lot of households throughout the country, you have everyone in the family rooting for the same football team, but in some cases, there are mixed marriages...so that's what The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know this morning! If you are in that relationship where you root for one team and your significant other roots for the other team, how does that workout come game time?

According to some of the calls M&C got this morning and a few of the texts, it can get pretty heated during the season. But before we get to that...who is America's Team right now? According to a recent survey, the Dallas Cowboys are still on top, but only by a slim margin! The Cowboys only got 9% of the vote followed by the Chicago Bears! After that, it's Green Bay tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers! San Francisco and the New York Giants round out the Top 5.

And believe it or not, only about 10% of fans actually plan on attending a game this season! Pretty crazy, but those are the facts! Now, let's get back to what happens in your house when your team plays a team that your significant other roots for...listen to some of the calls that game in this morning. To be honest, more women called in with their passion for their teams than the guys which can be a little scary at times.

No matter what the situation, M&C did find out that the football season brings out the "fan" in all of us no matter what team we root for, but here in Las Vegas, needless to say that we all hope for a great season for our Las Vegas Raiders!
