Taylor Hawkins Son, Plays With Foo Fighters At Tribute Show
Over the weekend, the first of two shows paying tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins. A huge star studded line up performed classics from bands Taylor idolized or played in. From members of AC/DC, Metallica, Pretenders, and more, it was a full day of non-stop music. But what probably stole the entire show was when the Foo Fighters performed for the first time on stage, since the passing of Taylor. They had a bunch of fill in drummers to play all the bands hit songs, but one drummer in particular definitely brought everyone to tears and cheers. That was Taylor Hawkins 16-year-old son, Shane Hawkins. He played drums with the Foo Fighters on “My Hero” and absolutely nailed it. He is definitely following in his fathers foot steps. In fact immediately after he performed, the internet blew up with comments about Shane replacing his father in the band. Will it happen? Who knows, but it definitely is a possibility after seeing how well he plays!
