What would be your reaction be if the guy you were dating pulled up in a U-Haul truck to take you out? Well, if you thought that would be so cool, you would be right because that is the latest "dating" trend going on right now!

The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up on the morning show and found out that this is the new thing right now and clearly people are diggin' it! It's all because of a Tik-Tok post where you Rent a U-Haul box truck . . . go get dinner . . . and hang out in the back of it! Is this a fun idea, or are people just getting weirder?

People all over the place are doing this and posting their videos on TikTok.  They usually get dinner, eat in the back, and put an inflatable mattress in there to hang out on . . . and maybe do OTHER things on.  (If this moving truck's a-rockin' . . .)

A lot of people have said they liked it because it's weird and unique.  And it's also cheap if you don't drive too far.  U-Haul's base rate is $19.95 a day, plus mileage and gas.  So if you don't have your own car, it's cheaper than renting one.

Now most people are opting for the big box truck...you know, a little more room to move...but a couple in New York just went viral after renting a U-Haul pick-up for their one-year anniversary.  They actually put together a bunch of snacks and then headed out to a drive-in movie. That must have been the video that put this whole thing on the dating map!

Now truth be told, some guy in Fresno, California may have started the trend when he took his girlfriend on a pandemic date way back in August of 2020...so that's how long this has actually been going on, but for some reason it's just catching on now!

While Carla Rea thought it was kind of cool, Mike O'Brian was a little hesitant on the idea, but listen to the segment and really think about it...is this something you would actually do?
