Hoping to make it to the Little League World Series, Nevada State Champs, Paseo Verde Little League team had a tough loss the other night, but they are still in it. Losing on a walk-off RBI single, that did it as PV lost to Utah-Snow Canyon 5-4 in the Mountain Regional on Tuesday in San Bernardino, California!

However, PV plays again tomorrow against Montana and the winner of that game goes up against the team from Utah again! It's been a great season so far, so Paseo Verde Little League keep it going...the entire state of Nevada is rooting for ya!

In other LL action, a scary moment when an Oklahoma little leaguer got beaned in the head during his at bat. Although the batter was fine and trotted to first base, on the other hand, the pitcher was visibly upset. To show what great sportsmanship this kids have, the kid who got hit trotted to the mound to console the pitcher to assure him that he was okay!
