We all have a soft spot for any and all of the pet rescues in Southern Nevada, because many of us have adopted from them, and/or donated to them. Here’s a chance to do that, and have a gnarly time doing it!
The Nevada SPCA wants you to dust off the leg warmers and get ready to celebrate 40 years of saving the lives of homeless animals in Southern Nevada. Founded in 1982, Nevada SPCA will celebrate with a totally tubular ’80s-themed brunch party inside Veil Pavilion at the Silverton Hotel & Casino on Saturday, August 20th, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Nevada SPCA’s Brunch Bash: ‘80s Edition will be a blast from the past where guests can boogie down to a live band playing 80’s hits, and play some vintage arcade games. Guests can bid on various silent auction items ranging from show tickets to high-end jewelry, and much more! The brunch will feature a bottomless “Meow”mosa Mimosa and “Hair of the Dog” Bloody Mary bar, along with host of delectable dishes with vegan options also available. Guests are encouraged to wear their best ‘80’s attire!
“We can’t wait for this party! It will be a fun way to capture the spirit of the eighties and commemorate the start of Nevada SPCA. We hope it will be a memorable event for our guests as it helps us raise additional funds needed to support even more animals. Our shelter is growing very rapidly and we continue to rely on the support and generosity of our wonderful community,” said Lori Heeren, Nevada SPCA Executive Director.
Individual tickets are available for $100 and can be purchased online by visting: https://nevadaspca.org/event/nevada-spca-brunch-bash-80s-edition/ or if you’d like to purchase a full table for ten guests please email: givehappiness@nevadaspca.org.
All proceeds from this event will support the care of homeless pets at Nevada SPCA.
It’s going to be mega radical!
