Elton John Says Michael Jackson Was Mentally Ill In New Book
Elton John has a new Memoir and he bears all in it. The memoir is titled, “Me: The Famed, The Disgraced, and Everyone In Between”. One specific thing he talks about is his relationship with Michael Jackson. Elton talks about when he first met Michael as at teenager, to taking him on a lunch with his mother, his future husband David Furnish, and a psychiatrist. He said Michael was an adorable kid but over time, that was changing. Later in life, Elton says quote, “He was genuinely mentally ill, a disturbing person to be around. It was incredibly sad, but he was someone you couldn’t help: he was just gone, off in a world of his own, surrounded by people who only told him what he wanted to hear.”
