Iconic Las Vegas Anchor, Dave Courvoisier, Once Again Says Goodbye To Las Vegas
The Mike & Carla Morning Show has been friends with long time news anchor Dave Courvoisier for a long time. In fact, when Carla Rea started doing talk radio (when it was still fun) in 1998, at what was then KVBC (now KSNV), Channel 3, NBC Las Vegas, that’s when she met Dave Courvoisier in the halls at Hot Talk 105.1, which was then part of KVBC, then owned by Jim Rogers.
We have all watched Dave Courvoisier for many years prior. Next thing we all know we’re at a going away party for him – he was leaving Channel 3 for Cape Girardeau, Missouri, which was where his family was. Well he’s doing it again!
He told the Las Vegas Review Journal’s John Katsilometes: “I am the oldest guy on Las Vegas TV.” Courvoisier, who turns 70 in November went on to say, “I’m still in very good shape, I have a lot I can do in life.”
Before he had a chance to leave town though, The Mike & Carla Morning Show had Dave on the air to say “good-bye”…
From all of us at 96.3 KKLZ, we wish you well anchorman. Here’s to your next chapter!
