In fact, when Carla Rea started doing talk radio (when it was still fun) in 1998, at what was then KVBC (now KSNV), Channel 3, NBC Las Vegas, that's when she met Dave Courvoisier in the halls at Hot Talk 105.1, which was then part of KVBC, then owned by Jim Rogers.
We have all watched Dave Courvoisier for many years prior. Next thing we all know we're at a going away party for him - he was leaving Channel 3 for Cape Girardeau, Missouri, which was where his family was. Well he's doing it again!
He told the Las Vegas Review Journal's John Katsilometes: “I am the oldest guy on Las Vegas TV." Courvoisier, who turns 70 in November went on to say, “I’m still in very good shape, I have a lot I can do in life.”
Before he had a chance to leave town though, The Mike & Carla Morning Show had Dave on the air to say "good-bye"...

We are sad to announce that two of the restaurants, Yayo Taco and Bachi Burger that were featured on the show have been shut down permanently. Yayo Taco served street-style "fusion" tacos that left hungry fans wanting the recipe to their "Adobe Mole Sauce." Bachi Burger served Asian-style burgers which were rich in flavor profiles. The "Spicy Miso Burger" was a customer favorite.
