Tom Cruise Could Make $200 Million Off of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’

“Top Gun: Maverick” comes out this weekend and is set to be one of the biggest films this year. Tom Cruise is expected to make about $200 Million off this film. How did they come up with this total?
The movie is expected to bring in $1 Billion dollars. Instead of taking a guaranteed one time amount for the film, he made a deal where he would get 20 percent of the total amount from the backend. Take 20 percent of the expected $1 Billion, and Tom Cruise is a richer man!
