Dearest Readers: (See what I did there?) The next season of Bridgerton is trying something a little different.

The show's third installment will go out of order from author Julia Quinn’s books, and skip straight to the fourth novel.

We might just be getting over Bridgerton season two, but there's plenty of good news coming from the cast about season three. The most recent update: Season three will officially be about Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton! Viewers will follow the love story between Penelope Featherington and the third-oldest Bridgerton brother, Colin - FINALLY!

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope,  revealed the news at a Netflix event over the weekend, and Shonda Rhimes' production company confirmed the story.

Fans of the show know how Penelope has loved Colin for years now, but the final episode of the second season saw her overhear him say he would never marry her, and it broke my heart!

Netflix tweeted "Season 3 will reveal how (or if) Penelope and Colin go from friends to lovers!" Coughlan said on Instagram that she had been keeping the secret for a while.

My suggestion for their Bridger-town celebrity name: POLIN!
