Recently Kanye West obtained the original copy of the tape and gave it to Kim as a gift. Although that did nothing because the tape is out there forever, it was a nice gesture. Well now that Ray J has given up the original copy, he's now wants the story straight behind the whole thing.
This whole time, Ray J has been taking heat for being the one who recorded the sex tape. While some people were applauding him, a lot more were saying he was exploiting Kim's privacy. We all know Kris Jenner released the tape for money reasons, but now Ray J is claiming that Kim was also in on the sex tape release. He said she liked the idea. Then Kris Jenner rolled with it and released it.
Ray J is tired of looking like the bad one in this whole situation and wants it known that all 3 people were in agreement about it being put out. Does this change anything now? Not at all, but maybe Ray J won't get so much backlash for something they think was his idea.
