While the cat has been let out of the bag not too long ago that Kenny Loggins hit, "Danger Zone" from the original "Top Gun" film was gonna be used in the movie, no one knew if it was going to make the soundtrack. With movies this big, soundtracks made the movies!

Kenny Loggins said he finally met Tom Cruise while on Fallon and mentioned in Rob Lowes podcast that the song will indeed be on the sequels soundtrack. He said Top Gun is nothing without "Danger Zone". The soundtrack will feature the hit as well as a new song from Lady Gaga.
