Saturday 04/30/22:  Casey Kasem counts down the 40 biggest hits in the U.S.A. on April 30, 1988, when the controversial film, Colors, starring Sean Penn and Robert Duvall, was filling theaters.

Real gang members from South Central Los Angeles were hired as “on-location security” during filming, and actor Sean Penn was arrested for punching an extra on set who was taking photos of him without his permission.  He spent 33 days in jail for the assault.  Here’s the original theatrical trailer for Colors.
