Sunday 03/20/22:  Casey Kasem counts down the biggest hits in the U.S.A. on March 18, 1978, when "Saturday Night Fever," starring John Travolta was still #1 at the box office!

This film had such a massive impact on popular culture.  It grossed almost $25 million dollars in it's first 24 days of release, and it grossed an average of $600,000 a day while still #1 at the box office January through March of 1978.  It became the best-selling movie soundtrack of all time until it was beaten out by "The Bodyguard" in the 1990's.
