It's very different when you get a present as an adult than it was when you got presents as a kid.  And by "different" I mean,  Ibuprofen and a Squatty Potty are fine, but not nearly as much fun as a Nerf toys, or Legos!

My best friend gives us all small Nerf guns for Christmas. Each Christmas a Nerf gun fight begins, and goes on for quite some time - not as long as when we were kids, because our back hurts more now - but at least until the sweat begins to glisten, and we're out of breath.

The Mike and Carla Morning Show listeners shared some of the gifts they would love to get for their birthday or holidays - but no one even considers buying for them because they're adults.  That needs to change!

Here are some of the most popular answers:

1.  Remote-controlled cars, planes, or helicopters

2.  Nerf guns

3.  Legos

4. Candy - like ridiculous amounts of candy!

5. Stuffed animals or a trip to Build-a-Bear

6.  Art kits

11. Lawn Darts - unfortunately (or fortunately) the originals are no longer sold

Next birthday, nest Christmas, why not just go for it - ask for the pogo stick, or the electric Razor scooter. You might hurt yourself, but you'll have a lot of fun until you do!
