Just north of Manhattan, 40 acres of land were set ablaze because of a homemade potato gun that was launched. The person used flammable material to make it, instead of using air pressure, causing the potato to catch fire and burn the land. The fire spread faster than normal due to high winds! No buildings burned because of the fire, but one building side did melt a little because of the heat.
About 20 volunteer fire fighters helped to contain the fire before it could spread more! We have more on this story and other weird and wacky stories in today's Other News!
