I do believe that Telestrations is the best game ever! A very simple, yet hilarious game  that basically takes two great games and puts them together:  "telephone" (where you whisper something into someone ear, and they whisper to the next person, etc.) and Pictionary.

If you haven't played, here's how it goes: Each person has a booklet of dry erase pages, and writes something on the first page from the subjects on the cards. Then they hand the book to the person next to them (to the left).  That person looks at it and draws a picture of it - then hands it to the person next to them (that isn't the original person, obviously).  That person then writes down what they think the picture is, and passes the book.  This keeps going until it gets back to the original person.  That person then flips through the book, shows all of the other players the transformation of their original subject - and then the laughter, and pants peeing ensues!

Why do I think this is one of  the best games ever? I like writing something down and seeing what my original statement turns to, and how.  For example, the subject that was handed to me Saturday night: Rabbit ears. The original person drew it, handed it to the next person - who wrote their guess as "nipples." So, I drew them (picture 1). When she got her book back, flipped through the pages - she drew RABBIT EARS - but the person to her left didn't see that, and wasn't quite able to figure that out. And I just drew what was written!

As far as "Crime Scene" - well... (picture 2)

Basically, watching how different people interpret different clues is really fun - and hilarious! Is it a game? Yes. But it's also a great party activity. It's a ton of fun, and laughs, and if you like that combo for game night, add Telestrations to your collection!
