The oldest Pub in England is shutting down after 1,229 years! Because of the pandemic, they're being forced to close their door. The pub opened back in 793! The pub is called Ye Olde Fighting Cocks. The latest owners who took over the pub in 2012 said they've tried everything they could to save the pub, but just can't make it happen.
They're holding out hope that something comes along soon, but if not, a huge piece of England's history will be shutdown.
