Jingle Bell Rock: Tips From A Past “JBR” Winner!
Every year at about this time, hundreds of KKLZ listeners set aside time with their family and friends to search for the elusive “World Famous Jingle Bell Rock”! Huge maps are taped to the walls in homes citywide, push pins are carefully placed as to where listeners already think it might be and plans are plotted out so when Mike & Carla’s “World Famous Jingle Bell Rock” is finally out there on Friday, December 10th, somewhere hidden in Clark County, they will be ones to bring it home and WIN $10,000.00!
In the past, families have taken their vacation time to look for the rock, friends have set up teams and others just go it alone in search of Mike & Carla’s “World Famous Jingle Bell Rock“!
If you’ve never taken up the search, but are thinking about it this year, remember to keep collecting the 5 on-air clues each, as well as the daily “Bonus” clues posted at each participating Meineke Car Care Centers, Doing Car Care Right, each weekday! Although some of the clues won’t make any sense to you, according to past winners, it’s all how you interpret each and every clue. So open your mind, do a little research, and remember, if you find the rock, it’s worth $10,000.00!
With all that said, you might want to listen to last year’s winner, Chris Blake and his friend Jeremy Jensen, who had been looking for the rock for years! However, last year they elevated their search, had a plan and examined each and every clue thoroughly! With all that said, they basically had an idea of where to search, but listen to what clues finally gave it away and took them to the exact location and ultimately up winning $10,000.00!
