Jack Black Jams with Music School Students on David Bowie Cover
Jack Black channeled some vintage Dewey Finn energy when he took part in a David Bowie cover with some teenage music students.
Embedded below is Black singing Bowie’s “Suffragette City” accompanied by students from San Francisco’s Blue Bear School of Music, which has been open since 1971 and boasts being “The Original School of Rock.”
Black said in a statement on the collaboration, “A good friend of mine (Paul Cummins) told me about Blue Bear and the incredible work theyāve been doing. I jumped at the chance to celebrate their 50th anniversary by jamming some Bowie with their teen all-star band. So fun. What an honor. Theyāve been teaching kids to rock since 1971! I love Blue Bear…the original school of rock!!!”
