Join Maddie’s Pet Project for their Adoption Days happening this Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12, 2021!

Thanks to the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, more than 7,600 animals have found their forever homes during this event in the past three years. The upcoming adoption event will include 50 Nevada animal welfare organizations, including both large and small animal shelters and private rescue groups. These organizations have the option of doing onsite adoptions as well as “virtual” adoptions which have become increasingly popular in animal welfare since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. To see all adoptable pets and to find participating locations, please visit Maddie’s Pet Project. The adoption statistics will be posted during the event in live time (as they are happening) on the website.

“We are thrilled to be supporting the efforts of Nevada’s animal welfare organizations through Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days event,” said Jerleen Bryant, Executive Director of the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation. “It’s been a tough year and a half for these groups, and we are excited to be able to give back and to help them find forever homes for so many animals.”

The Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation is a private charitable foundation based in Incline Village, Nevada. The Duffield’s are the founders of Maddie’s Fund, a leading animal welfare foundation dedicated to revolutionizing the status and well-being of companion animals. While the Duffield’s are long-time benefactors of companion animal causes, the Foundation also allows them to focus their philanthropic efforts in other areas that they are passionate about including supporting military veterans and giving back.
