GOSHEN, KENTUCKY - APRIL 30: Madagascar hissing cockroaches compete in the "Run for the Roaches" race at St. Francis School on April 30, 2020 in Goshen, Kentucky. The annual race was held by Joann Collins Brock, a second grade teacher at St. Francis School whose students are learning at home because the school is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The race was held using cockroaches that are class pets and was watched online remotely by Brock's students. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images)

If you walked down a street and saw an injured dog or cat, you would immediately try to help it, right?  How about a cockroach?  Well a man saw a cockroach was stepped on but still alive. He immediately picked it up and rushed it to the nearest veterinarian!  They did try to save it!  Put it in an oxygen chamber and all!  We have no word on if the roach survived, but do you think that’s a little extreme?  We applaud his efforts though!  We have more on this story and more in today’s Other News!
