Henderson Middle School Play Cancelled By COVID-19 Get's Animated Release

When the drama department at Thurman White Middle School had their play canceled last March, they had no idea what would happen next. Candy Wilder, the drama teacher at the school, tells The Mike & Carla Show the most amazing story and how one local business and one Academy Award-winning animator came to their rescue! COX Communications created a day-long red carpet event for the Thurman White Middle School students that followed all socially distancing rules. The student cast was interviewed by Disney Star, Will Buie Jr. and they received a bunch of movie swag!
