Jack Black was the recipient of a lot of love on Twitter thanks to a resurfaced clip from his 2003 film School of Rock.
Twitter user @hamishsteele shared the clip below of Black's character giving a pep talk to a young singer who was feeling self-conscious because of her weight. The clip was accompanied by the caption, "This scene is more revolutionary than I think they even knew and it really stuck with me as a child. Especially the last line."
The clip has since passed over 270,000 likes and nearly 50,000 retweets. It also led to an outpouring of appreciation for Black as an actor both in School of Rock and in other roles. Here are some notable tweets that led to Black to be a top ten trend on Twitter just because he's so great.
