HBO Max is currently the most expensive movie streaming service you can get. HBO has realized this and also realized that people are paying for it during a time where most don't have enough money to cover bills, yet alone a streaming service. To make sure customers still can afford the service, they're offering cheaper subscriptions. They say this will allow them to still have the in home movie entertainment, but not have to worry about paying so much and possibly cancelling.
