Adoptables Of The Week
Here are the latest fur babies available at Hearts Alive Village.
Peanut
Peanut was brought to the shelter as a stray. This sweet senior was chipped, yet her family never came for her. When the shelter contacted us, Peanut was not healthy enough to spay. She was extremely thin with a potbelly and her skin was in terrible condition.
We took her into the Village and began treatment immediately. We were able to spay her just in time as her lady parts were riddled with polyps and infection. That surgery was the turning point for this baby. She’s getting stronger every day and her body is filling out with proper care. Peanut LOVES to go for walks. She’s energetic and snuggly and wants nothing more than to be near a human. And boy does she love bath time! After her surgery, we wanted her to feel safe and secure, so we held off on introducing her to other pups. As she heals, we are slowly introducing her to other dogs. We’ll know soon whether she’d be happy sharing her home with a canine sister or brother. The shelter had Miss Peanut listed at 11-years-old, but our docs say she isn’t a day over 8. If you’re interested in adopting this pretty girl, please fill out an app on our website: https://www.heartsalivevillage.org/adoptable-dogs

Georgie
This handsome, 4-year-old Tabby was left behind when his owners moved. He spent some time sad over the loss of his family, but now, all he can think about is how good it will be to get adopted and adored.
Georgie is very sweet. He’s good with other cats and loves to spend time with humans. When you scratch his head, he’ll thank you in purrs. This cutie is hanging out at the Hearts Alive Village Cat Cottage waiting for the purrfect family to come get him. You can meet Georgie at 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd # 4, open 10-7 weekdays and 10-5 weekends. Is Georgie the new family member you’ve been waiting for?
