AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – JULY 23: A rooster is one of a number of chickens roaming free in west Auckland’s Titirangi Village on July 23, 2014 in Auckland, New Zealand. Keeping more than six chickens on urban properties will require a licence from Auckland Council under a new proposal for a bylaw to prevent stock from becoming a nuisance to neighbours. First off, if you live in the south, losing a rooster is heartbreaking! But being a kid losing a rooster is even worse. After a civil war re-enactment, he and his buddies decided to dine at their nearest Cracker Barrel! He also took his pet rooster, Peep with them! While they waited to be seated, they put Peep on a leash and walked him around. When it was time to eat, they tied the leash to the back of their pick up truck. This is something they do normally! When they were done, they walked out and Peep was gone! Was he reunited with Peep? We have the full story and other weird stories in today's Other News!
