Not all bands have had just just one band name over the length of their existence.  Some of them started off with pretty horrible names, before settling on something better…

Not all bands have had just just one band name over the length of their existence.  Some of them started off with pretty horrible names, before settling on something better and getting famous.  Here are several examples:

1.  The Goo Goo Dolls:  The Sex Maggots

2.  Creed:  Naked Toddler  (WTH?)

3.  The Red Hot Chili Peppers:  Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem

4.  Limp Bizkit:  Blood Fart.  (???)

5.  Hannah Montana:  Alexis Texas.  They changed it because there's actually a PORN STAR with that name.

6.  Van Halen:  Rat Salad.  It's actually the title of a Black Sabbath song.

7.  Linkin Park:  Xero

8.  Finger Eleven:  Rainbow Butt Monkeys

9.  Nickelback:  Village Idiot

10.  Black Sabbath:  Polka Tulk Blues Band

11.  Green Day:  Sweet Children

12.  Destiny's Child:  Girls Tyme

13.  Outkast:  2 Shades Deep

14.  The Beastie Boys:  The Young Aborigines

15.  Pink Floyd:  The Tea Set

16.  The Bee Gees:  The Rattlesnakes

17.  The Fugees:  The Tranzlator Crew

18.  New Kids on the Block:  Nyuk

19.  TLC:  2nd Nature

20.  Nirvana:  Pen Cap Chew

Carla Rea is the morning show co-host on “The Mike and Carla Morning Show" on 96.3 KKLZ, in Las Vegas. She has been working with her partner and friend Mike O'Brian for the past 25 plus years. At KKLZ for 12 years. Carla Rea is a Gracie Award winner. She started out in talk radio, "when talk radio was still fun" Rea says. Prior to, and along with doing the morning show, Carla is also a comedian. You may have seen her on Conan O'Brien, Evening at The Improv, Showtime, or several comedy clubs across the country. Carla also worked as a light feature reporter at KSNV/NBC Las Vegas, going behind the scenes at various shows, and restaurants on the Las Vegas strip. As a content creator 96.3 KKLZ, Carla writes in a sarcastic, cheeky, unapologetic way on Las Vegas, movies, TV, celebrities, and this thing we call life.
