Opening Album Tracks That Made You Stick Around
BroBible.com has a list of the 50 best opening songs, on an album, of all time. Not surprisingly, a lot of them are at least 20 years old, back in…

“Shadow Of Your Love” was released as part of the 1988 ‘Guns N’ Roses’ EP that was only released in Japan, but the track would finally get its first official release in the United States in 2018 as part of the Super Deluxe reissue of ‘Appetite for Destruction.’ It’s kind of amazing it took so long for the track to get an official release, because it certainly stands up to much of ‘Appetite’-era tracks. I guess file this one under “Better late than never.”

The list doesn't include much rap music, because the author found that the "opener" of rap albums is often a brief intro track , and the point of the list was to point out the ones that do the best job of "convincing people to stick around."
Also, each act could only be listed once.
