Neal Schon, On Journey’s New Album
This pandemic has made a lot of people more idle than they’re used to. But not Journey. According to guitarist Neal Schon, the band is “on fire”. They’ve already got 13 songs done, and allegedly 6 of them are “rockers”. Schon says he’s really excited about this album, the band’s first since the 2011 Eclipse. The really impressive thing? It’s all been done in quarantine. The process has been one person starts the song and sends it on to the next bandmate to add to. And for a virtual record, it sounds pretty good, Schon says.
The plan is to release a single from the new album (due out 2021) after the first of the year. Get the whole story from Blabbermouth.
