We're all trying to find that perfect place to explore where you can social distance, yet still enjoy, and feel like things are normal. Well - I found it - The Wetlands Park in Las Vegas is amazing!
You can make it a short walk or a long hike. There's a short paved path, and a longer one - and a longer one! There are dirt paths that veer off into one beautiful hidden area after another. A "river" - that is reclaimed water from our Las Vegas washes, so don't drink it or swim in it - which is there out of nowhere! And some vegetation you don't normally see in Las Vegas.
I've lived in Las Vegas for 30 years, and I keep finding new places to explore. I even found a lovely walking stick to claim my discovery.

Carla also worked as a light feature reporter at KSNV/NBC Las Vegas, going behind the scenes at various shows, and restaurants on the Las Vegas strip. As a content creator 96.3 KKLZ, Carla writes in a sarcastic, cheeky, unapologetic way on Las Vegas, movies, TV, celebrities, and this thing we call life.
