The novel Coronavirus is still impacting others and the city of Las Vegas.
If you or someone you know has been exposed to the virus and want to get tested then here are some testing locations:
— Cashman Center: Located on 850 Las Vegas Blvd. Testing for all ages is free. Walk-ups are welcome, however, appointments are strongly encouraged. Hours open is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit its website www.umcsn.com to make an appointment.
— Thomas & Mack Center, UNLV campus, Strip View Pavilion, northwest side. Testing is for all ages is free. Hours open is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Clients’ insurance will be billed a nominal administration fee. Anyone without insurance can still be tested for free. Register at www.umcsn.com.
—Texas Station: Located at 2101 Texas Star Ln. Drive-thru testing is free and self-performed nasal swab testing. Hours open is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are not required but encouraged. Register online at www.snhd.info/covid-texas
— CUUR Diagnostics: Located Desert Breeze Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road. Testing costs $125 and done from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. If outside temperatures reach 110 degrees then testing is stopped. Appointments are not necessary, however, preregistration encouraged. Visit cuurdiagnostics.com/lasvegas/ for more information.
— Southern Nevada Health District and Southern Nevada Community Health Center: Located at 280 S. Decatur Blvd. Testing is free at the Health District’s main location. Not a drive-thru testing event. Must make an appointment for testing. Register at www.snhd.info/get-tested/decatur.
— Boulder City Fire Department: Testing is free and offered only on Tuesdays for all Clark County residents. Appointments are required. Hours open 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Call (702) 293-9256 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make an appointment. Boulder City Fire Department is located at 1101 Elm St. Boulder City.
— Mesquite Fire Station 1: Testing is free for all ages. People can get tested only on Tuesdays from 8:00 am – 9:00 am. Appointments are required. at Fire Station 1 behind City Hall. Testing is open to Mesquite, Bunkerville, Moapa Valley and Mohave County residents only. Located at 10 E. Mesquite Blvd., Mesquite, NV 89027.
