The Downtown Las Vegas Veterans Day parade is canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The parade was scheduled for November 11th and would have been the 25th anniversary of it being held.

Parade organizer and Vietnam veteran and former Air Force Sgt. Jerry Adams cited COVID-19 concerns and regulations the reasons behind pulling the event.

Adams is considering a virtual event to be held for Veterans Day, but nothing has been confirmed.
