Lena
This big girl had a rough beginning. When we picked her up from the shelter, her fur was matted, her nails were overgrown, and her bladder was enlarged to the point where she was howling in pain.
With the right medical care and a lot of love, Lena is healthy, happy, and ridiculously cute! This sweet girl is a 6-year-old Alaskan Husky who weighs in around 115 lbs! She is incredibly friendly and she loves adults. Small children… not so much. Lena needs to be the only pet in the home. She doesn’t get along well with other animals and she wants her humans all to herself. After what she’s been through, she deserves it. She is micro-chipped, spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and ready to meet her new family. Please email info@heartsalivevillage.org if you’d like to make this beautiful lady a part of your heart. Mandy
Little known fact… Barry Manilow’s song “Mandy” was written in anticipation of this little girl. Please meet the Hearts Alive Village Adoptable Cat of the Week. Mandy is a 9-month old longhair cutie who was brought in off the streets. She’s still a bit shy around humans, but with some patience, love, and just the right amount of crooning, she’ll be a wonderful furry companion. Mandy is spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on her vaccines, and getting really good at posing for the camera. She’s currently residing at the Hearts Alive Village Cat Cottage, so stop in any day (10-7 weekdays and 10-5 weekends) to meet this girl. 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd # 4. Her adoption fee is $65.
